Experience

From 2019, I use USM principles in all my work. Whether it is structuring the work of an ITService Desk or standardizing procedures in information security, everything can be brought back to the 5 processes and 8 workflows of USM.

Motivation

In order to improve services, it is necessary to collaborate. This is only possible if people speak the same language. Then again, that language must be universally applicable across all service disciplines and understandable to all. USM is that language that connects people. There is nothing better than connecting people by showing that in fact we all already work according to USM, but have never found a way because we speak different languages.
