With over 30 years in technology, I have developed deep expertise working in highly available and regulated environments, gaining invaluable insights and a unique perspective to drive risk-based decision-making. My career spans IT Operations, Enterprise ITSM process management, and IT Risk & Governance, with experience at leading institutions such as the Toronto Stock Exchange, CIBC, UBS, and MUFG.

I am a passionate leader who thrives on coaching technical teams to optimize the flow of work and deliver measurable business value. Key areas of expertise include:

• Enterprise ITIL Process Management (15+ years): Oversight of Major Incident & Problem Management, Change & Release Management, Service Desk & Knowledge Management, Asset and Configuration Management.
• IT Operations (12+ years): Ensuring system availability across networks, infrastructure, applications, batch processing, and system recovery.
• Global Service Delivery & Governance (10+ years): Oversight of BCP/DR testing, IT controls, audits, and vendor management.
• Agile & DevOps Transformation (7+ years): Driving continuous improvement in the software delivery pipeline, enhancing release quality, consistency, and frequency.

Motivation

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with many organizations and witnessing significant technological advancements. This experience has kept me open-minded and curious about new ways of solving problems. I actively follow thought leaders on LinkedIn, including Jan van Bon, and was immediately intrigued by the USM Method, which further reinforced my perspective on the persistent challenges organizations are facing.

I firmly believe the missing link is the lack of an effective management system — one that unifies practices, addresses operational gaps, and positively shapes employee behaviors. The USM Method fills this gap by applying Systems Thinking principles to ensure all components of an organization work cohesively, resulting in greater efficiency and consistency. Becoming a USM-certified coach is an exciting step in my journey to help organizations simplify, strengthen, and continuously improve their routines and services in an effective and sustainable way.
