I have 20+ years of experience in the Services field. For various customers, including within the government, I have set up USM (e.g. TNO-GDN and a Ministry). I have also coached Service-Organizations for organizations in various sectors (e.g. Shell, ABNAMRO, HP, SSC-I DJI) in setting up their services.
Above all, I am a pragmatist. And although USM is a theoretical service management architecture, it fits perfectly with my pragmatic approach. The simplicity and purity of the model ensure that it supports a logical and relatively simple way of working that many people will be open to.
During my 20 years of experience within the service field, I have set up USM at many organizations; even long before it was officially available under that name.
