In a combination of theory and practice, I have developed in recent years into a true specialist at the intersection of engineering, logistics and business administration. I look at issues from different perspectives. As a true connector, I make the translation from strategy to execution. Getting things done!
I have carried out various service deployments for high-profile clients such as bol.com, ASML, Albert Heijn, Schiphol, APMTerminals and FrieslandCampina. In each of these, a complex technical facility, a business-critical process and a challenging stakeholder field are central.
I became a USM coach because I believe in value creation for both customer and supplier through professional services. When I first read the USM book I knew right away, "this is it! USM describes a nice summary of what I have learned and experienced over the past 22 years. Only now methodically underpinned and elaborated. I especially like the simplicity and universal applicability of USM.
Seeing is believing. Only with a good USM deployment, the benefits are achieved. As a USM coach, I have the opportunity to guide you in this with the ultimate goal of making your employees competent in this themselves. Because let's face it, growth in professional services is never finished, but companies that are actively working on it create a lasting advantage over their competitors.
As a USM coach myself, I am never done learning. With the USM community of coaches, we sit down monthly to learn from each other's insights and challenges.
I apply USM in the broad field of industrial automation where companies with internal and/or external suppliers (service providers) facilitate a (logistics) production process. This includes work such as:
- USM deployment coach
- Drafting service requirements
- Drafting and/or optimizing Service Agreements
- Service organization design
- Organizational change management
- Consultancy for service/asset management
- Interim service/asset manager
