As an administrative information scientist active since 1998 in the Dutch VVT and disability care sector. I have supported dozens of care organizations in issues related to information provision, digitization and IT organization. Through my years of experience I have a good picture of developments in the healthcare sector, technological developments and manage to connect well with the living world of healthcare. With a keen eye for the social and technical system in organizations, I contribute to a healthy balance between feeling-thinking-doing in combination with continuous improvement. With a 'hands-on' mentality, I translate theory into pragmatism in the actual context of the healthcare organization.
I see many healthcare organizations struggling with the complexity resulting from the increase in the use of technology (including software, healthcare technologies, home automation). Both in their own organizations and also in clients' homes. I am captivated by the power of the simplicity of USM. The USM method, the amount of tools already available and support provided by the USM community make it manageable and affordable for many healthcare organizations to bring service management to an optimal level, especially on their own.
As a USM coach in planning, setting up and applying the USM method.
