A USM partner deploys certified USM professionals for USM work - in accordance with the association agreement. Internal employees of the partner are covered by this agreement.

In case the partner does not have sufficient internal employees, the partner can deploy an external USM professional.

  • This can be done through an ad hoc agreement with an already certified USM professional, which falls under normal business dealings and is covered by the association agreements of both parties involved.
  • However, it can also be done through an agreement with an associate USM professional. Such an associate USM professional is the responsibility of the USM partner, and the USM partner is liable for compliance of associate's behavior with partner's association agreement. Therefore, the USM partner itself must establish the necessary agreements with the associate for this purpose. The agreements between the associate and the USM partner, for example on the degree of exclusivity of the associate's deployment, fall under normal business dealings.

The personal profile of the associate refers to the associate partner and vice versa, so that interested USM users can verify that they are dealing with certified specialists and organizations.
