((OTRS)) Community Edition certified as a USM-compliant tool

The SURVUZ Foundation is working with its Product Partners to further optimize the most common management tools to better support USM workflows. The second tool that passed the USM audit is ((OTRS)) Community Edition.

The audit is conducted by USM-certified product auditors, based on a functional requirements document managed by SURVUZ. These functional specifications define 221 must-have tool features and 31 nice-to-have features.

((OTRS)) Community Edition passed the audit cum-laude: 221 points were scored on 221 requirements, the full 100%. This means that the tool ((OTRS)) Community Edition is demonstrably fully capable of supporting all USM workflow management functions for an Enterprise Service Management System.

((OTRS)) Community Edition is an open source product. Thus, the administrator only needs to have knowledge of USM to set up the tool as a qualified workflow tool for USM. If required, the product can be supported by a local support organization.
