Service management tools can be tested against the functional requirements for modern tooling, as defined in the USM method. Tools that successfully demonstrate their capability to support the USM management system can complete this audit and will be rewarded by the SURVUZ Foundation with a USM compatibility certificate. These tools will be brought to the attention of (potential) USM users, so these users can make a safe choice for a suitable product. No costs are associated with this promotion, but a demonstration of the tool's capabilities is required first.

The audit

To have your product audited, you fill out the form below. You can then select an auditor from the Auditor Register with certified auditors. The auditor will provide you with the requirements for USM Service Management Tooling. That document also describes the audit protocol. The auditor explains these requirements in detail where necessary, and assesses the delivered configuration.

Audit cost

You only reimburse the auditor for his efforts. The costs depend on the effort the auditor needs to spend in the audit. This guidance normally takes 2-4 days, including the final report and the advice to the SURVUZ Foundation. The better you are prepared for this, the easier the audit will go.

Suppliers of USM-certified tools are Product partners in the USM Ecosystem and they have a seat in the USM Management Group.
